burnt_orangesky: (Dear Sphere: Plz stfu and diaf. Ta; Fred)
[The writing is small, and very delicate, in modified all caps.]

[[ooc: replies will be made after I get back from work!]]
burnt_orangesky: (We are not amused)
Whomever has been following me intermittently the past few days, your comments are irritating, highly distracting, and entirely unwarranted.

[Pen taps.] And do please stop rating my [pause] performance in the shower.
burnt_orangesky: (What does *this* button do?)
[Her writing is rushed, a little bigger than she would normally write, in her haste to get the words down on the page.]

What the bloody hell happened while I was away?

[A slight pause, and her next writing is almost calm.]

Precisely how long have I been away?

[ooc: I'm assuming 00 was asleep when Fred got home.]
burnt_orangesky: (Wait what?)

Sorry, the creatures got into my ink

Incidentally--00, Composer, do you two mind having another pet or three about the place? It would probably be only for a day or two.

[ADDED SOMETIME LATER because she just remembered it when one of the adipose babies tried to nom on it--] Ah, I don't suppose anyone is missing a clock? Pink, with 'Hello Kitty' written across the top of the time-display bit.

[[ooc: These are the creatures Fred found under her bed. Also, let's pretend I'm good at doing paint things, and that inkblot over the footprints is actually pretty.]]
burnt_orangesky: (Bodyswap - 9 excuse me?)
To anyone who remembers Storm, I am not he. Why this place saw fit to place me in his body, I shall never know.

...however, I do rather like the jacket.

burnt_orangesky: (That... doesn't seem quite right...)
It would seem the strange outfits have returned once more--or I should hope so, as I do not normally wear such outrageous makeup. I most certainly do not apply makeup in my sleep, nor do I normally get dressed in my sleep, nevermind that I would not wear such a strange outfit in any case.

The coat is a rather nice colour, though the pants are a bit [Pen taps] though the swans are a bit much.

[That strikeout is scribbled out heavily right away, because really... the pants are kind of. Um. Nonexistent. Because Fred is dressed as this guy. XD]
burnt_orangesky: (Art is more interesting)
[The handwriting is crabbed and a bit spiky, but still perfectly legible--though that could be because Fred is making an effort to write somewhat slowly. Doctor handwriting, lol.]

My apologies for startling you this morning, Pinky.

At least I can still go to work in this new body [pause for self pings], and being taller is certainly nice [pen taps] though I can honestly say I had never thought my name would ever truly match my gender.

I would like to apologize in advance, in case anyone is struck colourblind as a result of catching a glimpse of the coat I am wearing.

[ooc: Fred is now in the body of the 6th Doctor. Replies to any comments will be made with [livejournal.com profile] lucky_cat_pin

Edit: To hear what 'she' now sounds like, go here! Because funny songs are always appropriate.]
burnt_orangesky: (Please don't look at me)
I believe that, though I somehow managed to avoid becoming a faerie, I will not be able to work in the Scavengers' Yard until this [pen taps] outfit goes away.

[A pause]

Do the names Gallifrey or Rassilon mean anything to anyone, besides myself?

burnt_orangesky: (Babby Fred <3)
[The writing is almost a caricature of her normal penmanship; the loops are too big, the angles aren't sharp enough, the overall effect is... interesting.]

I see I am not the only one to have woken up little. Everything is so much bigger, suddenly; I need a chair to reach the kitchen counter. I think I need new clothes, too.

Since I rather think the new length of my legs will make running away difficult, perhaps I should not go to work until I am big again [pen taps] unless someone wants to go with me?

Otherwise I might explore the Wilderness instead. I will need someone to come with me for that, too.

[Added a little later.] 00, Pinky, Innovator--I am over at Genius' and Derrick's house. Sorry I didn't say earlier; I have been here a few days.

[I'll be replying to any comments with [livejournal.com profile] prydonian_child. Fred is... I guess she looks in about the 8 - 10 range. Let's say 10.]
burnt_orangesky: (We are not amused)
After spending my day running around like a maniac, I end up in jail. I would very much like to know how Youth tapping me on the shoulder made me arrive here, but I suppose that explanation will have to wait a bit. Of course, I rather doubt I will ever find out the trick behind it, Edensphere being what it is. My best guess would be some sort of teleport [pen taps] though that isn't quite the right word.

I gave breakfast a miss and did not have time to stop for lunch. I don't suppose someone would be willing to bring me a sandwich?

I would settle for a jailbreak, if the sandwich is too much trouble.

Does anyone else feel that being in prison is strangely, horribly familiar?

By the by, has anyone seen Pinky? She did not come home last night, and she was not there this morning when I woke.

[[ooc: the strikes are scratched out almost right away, but you can read it if you squint.]]
burnt_orangesky: (We are not amused)
I found something in the Wilderness that seems impossible, even for this place. I believe I may be the only person in Edensphere familiar with these pepperpot-like robots, so how was I able to find a toy version of one in one of the stores? For that matter, who would make this thing into a toy in the first place? It is not as though it is an attractive robot, I cannot see why anyone would ever want to play with it.

This finding is hardly worthy of a song!

[ooc: Fred found a toy Dalek (but not the other two figures) in Toys R Us. Lol.]
burnt_orangesky: (Playing dress-up)
Hmm, so the flavors are back... and they change each time they appear, it would seem. Interesting. This is much better than coffee, familiar... but I do not know what this taste is called.

[A few pen taps.]

An interesting coincidence that the unicorns decided to return on the same day.

[ooc: Fred tastes like a lemon jelly baby today. XD]
burnt_orangesky: (Wait what?)
Two questions:

One. Why is there a mythical creature standing in my living room?

Two. Why does it back away from me whenever I get near it? It is very odd; I only want to take a closer look at it, but every time I try it seems rather terrified of me.

[Added a few minutes later.]

I see that I am not the only resident to be [pen taps] graced with the presence of one of these.

((ooc: the unicorn in question belongs to 00.))
burnt_orangesky: (Excuse me)
Has anyone else been having difficulty with their chairs? Mine start singing and moving about whenever I try to sit in them.

On a different note, does anyone know if the buffet that is currently occupying the Wilderness only consists of Earth food? I will get round to exploring it properly myself soon, I was just curious if anyone had discovered food that is obviously not from Earth.

[A slight pause]

burnt_orangesky: (Broken dreams)
[The following is sketched slowly over several minutes; she's taking her time, trying to get all the details exactly right. The following sentences are scribbled here and there over the page, as though she's writing them down absently as she thinks of them. They are then inked over to the point of illegibility almost right away.]

What are these things?
They seem like enemies... were we some sort of rebels, or...?
Were they the enemies of my people as well? In that case, which side was in the right?
That planet... it seems important. To him? Or perhaps me as well.
I wonder if we were at war.
I wonder who won.

[ooc: She got Storm's dream, and is just trying to put the pieces together when she takes the dream and her memory into account.
Disclaimer: I didn't draw this Dalek, I don't know who did. It's not mine.]
burnt_orangesky: (Listen to the sounds of silence)
Whoever gives out these things, I would really prefer you not putting them in my food next time. You made me frighten my dog.

[Several pen taps.]

How common is it to receive memories that are not your own?

And does anyone know anything about giant robot-ships? Possibly to be used in battle.
burnt_orangesky: (Bored now / Do I know you?)
What did I Does anyone know I just

[A pause before she starts writing again.]

I don't suppose anyone saw me this morning in the marketplace? I cannot seem to recall my actions there, but I must have done something. I have a bruise on my arm that was not there before.

...please tell me I didn't do anything completely mad.

[ooc- What she isn't saying is that she woke up in her room with her shirt off. Lol. Words crossed out are still readable.

If your character wants to have run into 'her', 'she' was probably either freaking out about 'her' superfast heartbeat, or acting generally boy-ish.]
burnt_orangesky: (Default)
So that everyone is informed:

I would not recommend going down to the Wilderness until it changes once again. Unless you feel you simply must go sunbathing; in that case, I would recommend taking someone you know, like, and trust [pause, a few pen taps] a great deal.

Also, please take care not to get lost there--rescue would be extremely embarrassing, for everyone involved.
burnt_orangesky: (Wait what?)
Did anyone else wake to find their things rifled through or missing? What few things I own are all out of order.

A small shiny box I found in the Scavenger's Yard has gone missing as well. I think it was some kind of lighter, but I couldn't work out how to open it or how it functioned.

As if that wasn't a strange enough start to my day, I woke to find myself dressed differently yet again. This outfit is much less conservative than my last one, but at least it's clean and not bloodstained.

((ooc: ETA, Fred found, and is now missing, a zippo lighter.))
