[Bell was glad Gai was taking it easier, though he felt guilty for how that battle went. Maybe he should have just let it go; even if Gai ended up injuring himself, he deserved to make his own decisions and live with the consequences, including how they affected others.

Fred's appearance was a relief, and Bell stood, still holding Tenzou's leash, letting Gai stand on his own.]

[She wasn't really affected by the temperature of the air, but it would be good for Gai to go inside. She had no idea how long they had been out on the porch, and she didn't want him to catch a cold on top of his injuries... he pushed himself too much. It worried her, sometimes.]
