What are these things?
They seem like enemies... were we some sort of rebels, or...?
Were they the enemies of my people as well? In that case, which side was in the right?
That planet... it seems important. To him? Or perhaps me as well.
I wonder if we were at war.
I wonder who won.

Well, perhaps more of a combination. People write things they do not mind others seeing in here--I have seen anything from a terse demand to know if people are all right that was all of two words, to an exposition on the delight of drinking tea that took up an entire page.

I mostly was curious to see if anyone recognized the robot... thing. The inked bits were added later, and I did not originally intend to have them in the entry.

Oh, yes. It is a terrible affliction that occasionally overtakes me, and I have absolutely no clue of what I am writing before it is on the page.

Don't be thick. I was just absently writing on whatever was in front of me. It happened to be this journal, that is all.

I know that it is not unprecedented that people are born into Edensphere more than once; I experienced it firsthand, in fact. Some come back with their memories intact, as I did, but I have heard that others do not. That some come back with holes in their recollections, people and names forgotten or lost somehow. I think a few come back with no memory of this place, or their prior stay; at least one person has mentioned that in the journals that I am aware of.

I have not really been here long enough to know much about it other than hearsay and passive observation; you would be better off asking someone who has lived in this place longer.

He probably knew you from the last time you were here. Or at least knew of you, so he was able to recognize your name and either your writing or your face, depending on if he greeted you via the journals or in person.
