{Seventeen} &diams I'd like to make myself believe....
That was [pause] disturbing? Enlightening? Strange? All of the above, perhaps.
In any case... my nightmares are usually slightly more frighting than that.That seemed like something out of a book... rockets and tea parties and even large cold-blooded carnivorous lizards. And usually I recognize everyone in them rather than just half. Most odd.

How would you start a war with a typewriter anyway? It makes very little sense. Not that dreams ever do.

{And he waits for her quietly in the Park, his customary red coat on, matched with a black scarf to ward off the chill.
Fred had not only drastically worried him with that entry, but she had seemed so much like himself. She shouldn't have to go through what he had, no one should. Talking was the only way to heal.}

[Fred walked briskly to the arranged meeting point, trying not to think about a week ago, and what she had written. She had not meant to worry everyone, but she had clearly not been thinking straight.
She spotted the red coat, tried a smile (it didn't feel too forced), and waved.]
