{Two} &diams Good enough is good enough for me / As it should always be

Something rather odd happened to me this morning. Did anyone else wake up dressed in strange clothing? I suppose this outfit is acceptable, though I am not fond of the color. At least the skirt is a reasonable length, and not ridiculously short.

I am pleased to be able to say that I have a job now--I am a Scavenger. If you should need to find me, I will most likely be on the fifth floor.

The Tree likes to do this on occasion- it will change around our wardrobe or play with us in other ways. It's typically temporary and harmless, though.

Raise. It's good to meet you, Fred.

How long have you been here?

This is the second time this month the clothing change has happened.

The tree seems to enjoy putting me in skirts...

Not just clothing changes; lots of other weird things have a tendency to happen.

And yes, I have. For the third time this month. Earlier, there were another few days when peoples' clothing changed, and I had a skirt then. Then, a short while ago, I recovered one of my memories and my punishment was to wear a kilt for a week.

Usually when you find a Memory Crystal there is some price attached to it, yes.

Scavenging is the COOLEST JOB EVER.

[identity profile] handy-psychic.livejournal.com 2009-09-25 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope so, too! Uhm, usually I tend to dig into piles of junk, so if you see a pair of blue-sneakered feet sticking out of somewhere, chances are it's me.

[identity profile] handy-psychic.livejournal.com 2009-09-25 05:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd appreciate it! Usually my dog ends up doing it but he has a tendency to laugh at me afterwards...

Yeah... and sometimes he moos or baa's instead.

I do not believe I have met you or the writer of this entry, but I too am a Scavenger. Well met! May I inquire as to your names?

[identity profile] white-disciple.livejournal.com 2009-09-25 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Greetings, Mr. Fred. My name is Serenity and I am currently an Apprentice Scavenger.

[identity profile] white-disciple.livejournal.com 2009-09-25 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Greetings, Bridge - have you been a Scavenger long?

[identity profile] handy-psychic.livejournal.com 2009-09-25 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup! Pretty much ever since I was born, which was almost a year ago~

[identity profile] yourealrightnow.livejournal.com 2009-09-25 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh phew. So I'm not the only one, Fred. I woke up in some sweats with my name on it. It's not as, I don't know, stylish as the outfit I bought, but it is a little more comfortable.

Congratulations on the job. A Scavenger, huh? I was thinking about doing that part-time if I get a full-time job at the Medical Island. It'll help, I don't know, the restlessness I think. I've heard a thing or two about what can be found there.

[identity profile] godsmajesty.livejournal.com 2009-09-26 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
Scavenger? We might be meeting each other then.

[identity profile] godsmajesty.livejournal.com 2009-09-26 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
All right.
