{One} &diams I'm losing everything I am / Remember nothing of my past

Hello, I suppose.

I am really not sure what is going on in this 'Edensphere' place; I just arrived yesterday. Sky told me that whatever I write in this journal can be seen by everyone, so I'm trying it out.

Does everyone go through that disgusting goo-cocoon birth process? I don't know anything at all about this place.

An introduction would probably be in order about now--my name is Fred. If anyone has any pointers or advice about this place for me, I would love to talk to you. Actually, I would love to talk to anyone at all.

((The writing is a decent copperplate, not too fancy. For the first few sentences the letters appear slowly, as if Fred is not used to writing in this language, but she soon gets the hang of it and writes more quickly.))

Well let's go then! [Storm says, grinning.] The Wilderness is this way. It changes from time to time-honestly, I don't know what it is now.

[Fred gives Storm an answering smile.] It changes? Fascinating, Sky didn't mention that.

Well, as long as we're trapped here, at least this place keeps giving us new things to explore.

It does! A while ago it was this place called Hollywood-lovely place. Recently it was a giant gymnasium. [He is very happy about all this.]

You're right. I'd hate it if it was just the Sphere here.

About how often does it change, do you know? [Fred is gathering data on her new home.]

You seem to thrive on these sort of chaotic events. Do you think you spent a lot of time in a place like Edensphere in your former life? [And on Storm, it would seem.]

[Pause, while Storm thinks.] I don't know. Once or twice a month perhaps?

I'd like to think so. After all, everything here on Edensphere just comes natural to me.

Interesting. Has anyone ever seen the change happen, that you know of? [And the information gathering continues!]

[She nods thoughtfully, filing away any and all information about this strange-familiar man.] How do we get to the Wilderness? It is on the level below this one, correct?

[Storm shakes his head.] It must happen while we're all asleep.

You take the elevator! It can go straight to the Wilderness. It's in the tree. Come on, I'll take you there now. [Taking Fred's hand, Storm starts to run.]

I see.

Alright then. [Fred smiles as he grabs her hand and begins running, lengthening her strides to match his. This feels good, it feels... this feels right.]

I've missed this... [She hadn't known what she was going to say before she said it, but she knew it was true the second she heard the words. For whatever reason, she had missed running.]

[Storm smiles too, enjoying the running. Indeed, it's starting to feel natural for him.]

Me too. [He said, again without thinking.] Perhaps we should do this more often.

[Fred laughs] That sounds wonderful! Someone said I would have to get a job here; I'll have to see if I can't find one that involves running in some manner.

It doesn't involve running that much, but I recommend being a Scavenger. It's fun! You get to dig through all this junk to try and find working things. It's fun.

That sounds quite interesting, actually. I'll have to look into that. [They reached the lift, just as the doors were opening. Fred slowed to a walk and went inside.] It's the third floor, correct?

I believe so. [Grinning at Fred, Storm walked inside and pressed the 'third floor' button.] And off we go.
