{Twenty-four} &diams

After spending my day running around like a maniac, I end up in jail. I would very much like to know how Youth tapping me on the shoulder made me arrive here, but I suppose that explanation will have to wait a bit. Of course, I rather doubt I will ever find out the trick behind it, Edensphere being what it is. My best guess would be some sort of teleport [pen taps] though that isn't quite the right word.

I gave breakfast a miss and did not have time to stop for lunch. I don't suppose someone would be willing to bring me a sandwich?

I would settle for a jailbreak, if the sandwich is too much trouble.

[Pause]

Does anyone else feel that being in prison is strangely, horribly familiar?

-Fred

By the by, has anyone seen Pinky? She did not come home last night, and she was not there this morning when I woke.

[[ooc: the strikes are scratched out almost right away, but you can read it if you squint.]]

[identity profile] man-genius.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
So in order words, Fred. You fought the law and the law won?

Well I was actually thinking The Clash so that shows you how old I am

[identity profile] man-genius.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure how I lucked out of this little game you crazy kids got going but hey, I'm not gonna complain! The sphere likes me! Again!

So whatcha gonna give me if I bring you a sandwich?

[identity profile] man-genius.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
Is that a hint of jealousy in your pen strokes, woman-friend?

There is goodness but not that much. Anything that makes me leave the house that isn't necessary to my continual existence on this tree gets a tax levied on it.

...But I'll cut you a deal since we're friends. I'll get you some food if you agree to call everything by it's rightful name. That includes potato CHIPS.

that's a really sad comment considering his 4th floor is friday

[identity profile] man-genius.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
If that day ever comes, you will have mocking privileges. But for now I am King of the Sphere!

OH COME ON! Is it that much to swallow your pride? I'm being generous here. I wouldn't do this for anyone else. Except Derrick I guess.

you meanie. he's gonna be CRUSHED

[identity profile] man-genius.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
But your dialect is funny and mocks starches everywhere.

[whine whine whine]

I mean how long do you think you're gonna be in there? A while right? A while without food. Is calling the bag chips really so hard in the face of hunger?

[identity profile] man-genius.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
...Yeah I thought as much.

It's not that bad is it? I thought you guys were having fun.

[He's not jealous of you. Nope. Nada.]

stop triggering his empathy damnit

[identity profile] man-genius.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, it's not your fault Youth is freakishly fit and has the hyperactivity of a five year old. Don't think of jail as a failure, think of it as safety. Those walls protect you from all the Youths' of the world.

[pause]

Hmm. We've talked so much I've gotten hungry. Our fridge is empty so I guess my continued survival depends on me walking to the marketplace and past the park.

I think I want sandwiches.

i'm sure he'll appreciate it eventually. when he's done having a melt down

[identity profile] man-genius.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
It's not a real jail at least. Just a game.

I like peanut butter and jelly and apple juice. With those chocolate chip cookies that freaky guy with the dot in his forehead makes. The perfect meal. You?

[y halo thar cameo appearance of Crow. Also yes his eating habits are those of a 1st grader. It's canon. /sob]

Or the Clash... ...which KK got first because I am slow...

[identity profile] grab-my-bells.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
Youth will do that. He's like a puppy with a squirrel. Stop running, and he'll probably lose interest and find something else that moves.
Edited 2010-01-26 02:38 (UTC)

Greenday's not bad music...

[identity profile] grab-my-bells.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
I guess it pays to eat before playing chase.

But...I'll tell you what. I'll have Youth make you a sandwich and bring it down to you, since it's his fault you're there. And then we'll see about a jailbreak.

^_^

[identity profile] grab-my-bells.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Hm. I wonder if your lunch would have poofed with you to jail? They might be afraid you'll store files or a saw in your sandwiches.

I'll see what I can do. ...No, I got out this morning, and have been avoiding touching Youth again.

[identity profile] grab-my-bells.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't that always the case?

Well, we don't have to avoid him, so long as he promises to keep his hands off us.

[identity profile] grab-my-bells.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Ask him.
With me, probably not a problem. You, on the other hand...
spandexisyouth: (Bein' ninja)

[personal profile] spandexisyouth 2010-01-26 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
I am not the one that has trouble keeping his hands to himself.

And you are not striking things out fast enough.

[identity profile] grab-my-bells.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, you do. ...I can make sure you do.

Oh? Oops.

I am certain that I can control my hands.

[identity profile] desig-survivor.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
You must be one of the "robbers", I guess. Stay away from me when you get out. I'm one of the "cops". It would have been nice to know what that meant beforehand. [Is he still a little sulky about that? Yes. Yes, he is.]

It looks bizarre from this end, Fred. A couple of people have called it "poof"ing, but it seemed instantaneous to me, and even though I didn't know to look, my eyes are good. Like he'd never been there in the first place.

[identity profile] desig-survivor.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
I saw nothing. It wasn't even like he was a hologram that had been switched off - there wasn't a flicker or anything.

How about from your end? Is it that... instantaneous?

[identity profile] desig-survivor.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
No, nothing. It's like... I don't know, like my perception of time changed for a moment.

I don't suppose you heard air displacing out? If someone else appears, is there a pop?

[identity profile] desig-survivor.livejournal.com 2010-01-26 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
Or like I blanked out and came back completely unaware that any time passed. ...I don't know if a mind trick like that's even possible. Probably.

i meant to comment last night but lol fell asleep

[identity profile] redrobinhood.livejournal.com 2010-01-27 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
Pinky's missing?

[RANGER MODE ON]

If I'm at work I tend to be stuck with one account at a time /sob

[identity profile] redrobinhood.livejournal.com 2010-01-27 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
That's not...too long at least.

She could be working another shift in the wilderness, although I thought rescue teams were done since we stopped finding survivors.

[Oh you best believe he's considering checking the library right now lol]

\o/

[identity profile] redrobinhood.livejournal.com 2010-01-27 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
They get stuck in various places yeah.

You'll tell us if she comes home?

[bawwwww]
